Shedeur Sanders drops hint at landing with Steelers
The 2025 NFL Draft is just around the corner — and Shedeur Sanders’ recent comments have many believing he’s confident he’ll drop to Pittsburgh with the No. 21 pick.
Sanders recently appeared on The Rush with Maxx Crosby, the star Raiders defender’s podcast, and revealed his own personal Mount Rushmore of duos — Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski, Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams, Chris Olave and Derek Carr, and “whoever is going to be the quarterback for DK Metcalf and George Pickens.”
Sanders is clearly — and hilariously — referencing himself throwing passes to Metcalf and Pickens in 2025, and it definitely seems possible, with his value projected toward the end of the first round by many NFL teams as the draft approaches.
Steelers HC Mike Tomlin recently spoke highly of Sanders’ intangibles, and it seems like a match made in heaven should the Colorado Buffaloes QB drop to pick No. 21 in the 2025 NFL Draft.
