Kingsford and Miller Lite’s Beer-Infused Charcoal Is Back

  • Kingsford x Miller Lite Beercoal is a charcoal briquet product infused with Miller Lite beer, designed to enhance grilled food with a bold, smoky beer flavor.
  • The product was originally released in 2022 and 2023 as a limited-time offering and quickly sold out both years due to strong consumer demand.
  • In response to its popularity, Kingsford and Miller Lite have expanded distribution in 2025, making Beercoal available at retailers nationwide for the first time.

The summer barbecue season is nearly here, which means it’s time to invest in some charcoal and a good beer to sip as you flip those burgers. But what if we told you there is a way to combine these two things into one spectacular grilling treat? Yes, my grill-ready friends, Kingsford x Miller Lite Beercoal is back.

On Thursday, Kingsford, a charcoal company that has been helping people grill for more than a century, and Miller Lite announced they are once again partnering for the Kingsford x Miller Lite Beercoal, aka charcoal briquets made with actual beer.

According to the two brands, the charcoal briquets sold out quickly when they were offered in 2022 and 2023. And now, thanks to overwhelmingly positive fan feedback, they are offering them for the first time ever at retailers across the nation.

Previously sold out in 2022 and 2023, Beercoal is now available nationwide for the first time, promising a bold, smoky flavor and quick ignition.

As for how the Beercoal is made, the brands shared in a joint statement provided to Food & Wine that it’s “crafted by infusing the legendary performance of Kingsford Original Charcoal with real Miller Lite, delivering a bold, smoky taste to every bite. It’s a perfect pairing that doesn’t just fire up your grill — it fires up the flavor.”

It’s also a familiar product, making it easy for any seasoned griller to use. Just stack it in the center of your grill, light it up, and once the coals are hot, spread them out to ensure an even heat. And this product, the two companies added, is designed with “more edges and signature grooves to catch the flame faster.”

In fact, it lights up so quickly that your grill should be ready to use in about 15 minutes. (Yes, we know that gas grilling allows you to start cooking a lot faster, but come on, we also all know that charcoal provides a superior flavor. But like the summer season, the Kingsford x Miller Lite Beercoal is only available for a limited time and while supplies last. You can find where it’s sold near you at Kingsford.com. And just in case you need one more item to bring to your summer barbecues, in April, Miller Lite also announced it’s partnering with Pringles on two summer flavors: Beer Can Chicken and Grilled Beer Brat Pringles, both of which seem like the perfect snacks to enjoy while grilling over your Beercoal.
