Earlier this month, the podcaster and her husband Jelly Roll attended the 60th Academy of Country Music Awards in Frisco, Texas — and looked great while doing so! See (below):
So what’s the problem? Well, while on the red carpet, Bunnie gave the Wild Ones singer a peck on the lips, which didn’t seem out of the ordinary to us. But leave it up to netizens to find something wrong with it…

According to many, the kiss was far too brief for what you should expect from loving spouses. And it apparently ignited a “fake love” narrative among several social media users! Yes, people really think from that interaction that their entire relationship is a lie. Sheesh.
Well, Bunnie ain’t having it! Over the weekend, she addressed the criticism on her Dumb Blonde podcast, saying:
“Can we talk about how everybody in the comments is so mad at how I kissed my husband on the red carpet? They’re like, ‘She’s not really with him, ‘That was a fake kiss,’ ‘This is fake love,’ ‘Ew, can you believe the way she kissed him?’”
She continued:
“Let’s have a conversation. When you are on a red carpet, you literally have 300 cameras pointing at you at one moment. If I lingered on his lips longer than 10 seconds, you guys would be like, ‘Oh she’s still a whore,’ ‘Get a room,’ ‘This is disgusting,’ ‘This is a family awards show.’”
She noted her makeup plays a big role in public displays of affection not lasting longer, too:
“I have lip gloss on, I have an entire face. My husband has to continue taking pictures after that kiss. So does he want a frickin’ lip liner and gloss all over his face? No!”
Ha! It’s a good point! A moment on the lips, a lifetime on the Getty photo gallery, right? The 44-year-old argued “there are no other couples that kiss on the red carpet” — even though photographers specifically ask them to kiss constantly. She joked:
“As the brand has grown, we’re in front of children. We’re in front of, like, families. My husband is singing Hard Fought Hallelujah, you want me to f**king lick his balls right there on stage?”
