Anthony Ramos was part of the original Broadway cast of Hamilton, and participated in the reunion at the 2025 Tony Awards!
He did not get a solo singing moment during the short compilation, which featured solos from other stars like Lin-Manuel Miranda, Leslie Odom Jr., Christopher Jackson, Daveed Diggs, Jonathan Groff, and more.

Ahead of the Tony Awards, Anthony reunited with Andrew Chappelle, another original Broadway cast member. Andrew did a Hamilton Instagram takeover on Tonys day, and showed himself arriving with Anthony to the performance.
“So a lot of ya’ll have been working my last nerve,” Andrew jokingly said in an Instagram Story video. “You’ve been asking me about this man all day,” he said before turning the camera to show Anthony walking to the Tonys.
Anthony then said, “Yo, what up?” to the camera. He then said, “We locked in.”
Fans are wondering why Anthony did not get a solo in the compilation performance.
One commenter mused, “Anthony probably had scheduling conflicts that prevented him from playing a bigger part but he was there, he came in during History Has its Eyes On You! I would’ve loved for him to do a Raise a Glass to Freedom but I’m glad we got everyone anyway 😍”
Another wrote on Hamilton‘s Instagram, “It’s literally less than 5 minutes my goodness. Also, have you thought about maybe he didn’t want to/didn’t have time especially with his movie.”
