Stanley Launched a Leakproof Version of Its Viral Quencher Tumbler

I already have three Stanley Quencher tumblers sitting in my kitchen cabinet, but this latest launch makes me want to add a fourth to my ever-growing collection. Stanley just dropped a leakproof version of The Quencher (in all sizes!). 

If one thing’s certain it’s that Stanley listens to its customer base for product feedback and innovation. As popular as The Quencher is, it had one major drawback: A leaky straw design. The new ProTour Flip Straw Tumbler has a straw spout that you can close when you’re not using the tumbler, so spilled beverages are a thing of the past.

In addition to the leakproof lid, the new tumbler is available in a Fade finish (offered for all sizes)—a dotted design on the body, handle, and lid—which is supposed to create better grip. Because, let’s face it: Even with the handle, it’s easy to drop this water bottle when you’re also carrying a million other items. You can even get the 30- and 40-ounce tumblers in Stanley’s limited edition holiday colors—I’m personally eyeing Gilded Pomegranate. Exclusive colorways are also launching at Target on Dec. 15. 

The best part about this new Stanley tumbler design is the ProTour Flip Straw lid fits all the previous Quencher designs (in the corresponding size). You can mix and match your tumbler body and top, which is excellent news for the other tumblers I have in my collection. 

The flip straw lid also has a rubber seal under the straw that further prevents water from leaking in case you were to drop your tumbler. The seal is also replaceable, so you don’t have to worry about the lid being ruined from mold with repeated use.  

I’m definitely excited to toss this tumbler into my tote bag without worrying about spills.
