Oren, Tal, and Alon Alexander have been taken into FBI custody in Miami. The three brothers were arrested early Wednesday morning, according to sources close to the investigation. Agents were seen outside Oren’s Miami home, but authorities have yet to release any specifics about the charges.

In March, two women, Kate Whiteman and Rebecca Mandel, accused Oren and Alon of rape in lawsuits filed in New York; in June, Angelica Parker filed a lawsuit accusing all three brothers of rape. Dozens of allegations of sexual assault and rape followed in several media investigations and subsequent lawsuits, creating a timeline of alleged assaults that spans the brothers’ high-school days through their starry careers. One alleged victim says she was assaulted by Tal Alexander as recently as 2022. Tal denied the allegations, as did Oren and Alon, through their attorneys.

Before the allegations, Oren and Tal were high-powered luxury brokers in New York and Miami, first at Douglas Elliman, then at Official, their independent venture. The pair were among the top brokers in their country. Oren and Tal’s partners at Official have since left the company, and they were sued by Side, a brokerage that was part of their firm, for failure to repay a loan. Their real-estate licenses are no longer active. Alon was an executive at the Alexander family’s company, Kent Security.

In a call this morning, Whiteman’s lawyer, Evan Torgan, told me that dozens of women had contacted him in the wake of Whiteman’s lawsuit. “I’m proud of the first woman who came forward, Kate Whiteman, and the brave women who stepped up after years of suffering in silence,” he says.
