Who is your game date?
My husband. He was my high-school sweetheart. Next year, we’ll have been together 50 years. It’s kind of obnoxious. We grew up on Long Island and I was a dreaded Islanders fan and he was a Rangers fan. When we started dating, he said, “This is not going to work. Somebody’s going to have to switch.” There was not much women’s empowerment back then, so I just said, “All right, I’ll change.” Now, I’m a bigger Rangers fan than he is. I tape the games so that if I’m at the game, I can watch it again when I come home. I’m ridiculous.
Is this what you always wear?
I have 22 hats currently. And I have a lot of jerseys. I wore my Kreider jersey tonight, because he’s my favorite player. I also had my nails painted blue, and I have my blue hair — which I usually get refreshed for the playoffs.
How was the game?
Awesome. I really dislike the Devils, so for us to play so well, that was icing on the cake. I call the Devils “the Dirty Jerz.” I call the Islanders “the Fish.” I call Pittsburgh “Shitsburgh.” I have names for all the teams. I’m very bad. I’m sorry.

Were you there for the ’94 Stanley Cup win?
My son was crossing this imaginary arrow of light from Tiger Cubs to Cub Scouts the same night and was mad no one would be there. So I gave up my ticket and my husband went with a friend. When they won, I was in bed with a bottle of Tums. My husband called, and I was like, “You owe me big time.”

Have a favorite Rangers memory?
In the late ’70s, they traded my all-time favorite, goalie Eddie Giacomin. Everybody’s heart burst. The very next game, the Detroit Red Wings claimed him and played in the Garden. Listening to the game through the radio, I heard the whole Garden was chanting “Eddie, Eddie.” It’s the only time the entire Garden rooted for the Red Wings.

How was the food tonight?
I get the hot dogs. I’m pretty much a hot-dog guy. They say for every hot dog you eat, you lose 15 minutes of life. So I probably should have been dead ten years ago.

Tell me about those gloves.
These were used by Sean Avery, one of my favorite players. I have a collection of stuff, well over 100 items. I was able to get the gloves Brian Leetch brought with him when he was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Those I wouldn’t even bring out of my house. I don’t want them to get ruined. I also have his pants. Not everybody gets to have Brian Leetch’s pants.

How’s the team this season?
Good. We’re definitely going to make the playoffs, so that’s the biggest thing for us. I try to be realistic. I definitely think we’re going to have a solid run, but are we going to win the whole thing? That I can’t tell you. I’m not going to jinx anything.

Come to a lot of games?
This is my 50th year as a season-ticket holder. I almost always go to the game with my son, Evan. My wife sometimes goes, but she’ll want to leave early, and I never want to do that.
