The director for Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour documentary is tackling a new project tied to another major pop star.

Sam Wrench, who was the director for the massively successful concert movie Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, has signed on to direct a remake of the 1992 film The Bodyguard.

The Bodyguard famously starred Whitney Houston, who played a pop singer who hires a former secret service agent to protect her from a stalker. The movie earned $411 million in the box office worldwide, was nominated for two Oscars, and is also known for its best-selling soundtrack that features Whitney‘s legendary version of “I Will Always Love You.”

Sam is no stranger to helping create top-grossing films himself, as Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie garnered a whopping $261.7 million worldwide, according to Deadline.

Meanwhile, the cast for Sam‘s version of The Bodyguard has not yet been set. However, it has been confirmed that Jonathan Abrams will pen the script to the Warner Bros film.
