Some of the country’s elite high school talent has hailed from Louisiana, whether in basketball, baseball, football, track and field, and more.
The Bayou State has produced iconic athletes like the Manning brothers, Eli and Peyton, and more recently, their nephew, Arch. Danielle Scott-Arruda and Semoine Augustus are legends in the state, sharing the limelight with Marshall Faulk and the great Robert Parish.
With that type of legendary history, the high schools that served as the setting for each athlete are just as much a part of the storyline. And that continues today.

According to one study, which accounts for survey feedback from students and parents—accounting for “reviews of athletics, number of state championships, student participation in athletics, and the number of sports offered at the school”—and data from the U.S. Department of Education, these are the top 25.
