I didn’t even realize that Abraham Lincoln and Charles Darwin were basically twinsies. It’s also kind of wild to think about how recent their lives were. 1809 is just over 200 years in the past. Both Lincoln and Darwin weren’t doing all the things that made them famous for another few decades. When I was a kid learning about these men in the late 1980s’ and early 90s’ that was only a little over 120 years after the Gettysburg Address. Sure, that’s a long time but in the big scheme of things, not really.

I guessed foray because it popped into my head and sounded like a pretty good opener. It wasn’t! 435 words remained. Thankfully, spade dug me out of that hole and left me with just two remaining words. I had no idea that there were two left. All I could think of was pasta. Apparently aspic was also a viable option.
