That was me with Monster Hunter Wilds, but recently players have been sharing their favorite pre-made design codes. Do you want to be God of War’s Kratos? Or, anime fans, perhaps you’d prefer to look like the best girl, Frieren, from Beyond Journey’s End. Whatever your preference, here are the best MHW character creation codes, as well as how to use them.
Geralt of Rivia (The Witcher)

Everyone’s favorite silver-haired protagonist, Geralt can easily be replicated in Monster Hunter Wilds if you tweak the settings enough. If you want a tried and tested version, though, complete with facial scars and flowing locks Reddit user Gullible-Ad8788 has Witcher fans covered.
Ciri (The Witcher)

Sticking with The Witcher series, it’s time for Ciri’s turn. As the confirmed protagonist of The Witcher 4, Ciri will be a popular option for players looking to get their hit of monster hunting as her while we wait for a confirmed release date. Reddit user K_808 is to thank for this one.
Dean Winchester (Supernatural)

Right, we know he’s not from a game, but how could we leave out Dean Winchester? Portrayed by Jensen Ackles, alongside his brother Sam, he’s one of two protagonists from the American drama Supernatural. During the series, Dean faces plenty of trials and tribulations, making him the perfect fit for a Monster Hunter game. Credit goes to Reddit member Cheap_Examination_35 for the creation.
Harley Quinn

Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn can be replicated almost perfectly in MHW thanks to this creation code from Reddit user Gullible-Ad8788. With her trademark twin tails and dye-tipped hair, Harley is instantly recognizable, and you can follow suit. Her attitude makes her the ideal monster hunter, too. The only thing you’ll need to customize yourself here is her clothes, as they’re not included in the code. If you’re wearing plenty of armor though, they won’t be seen anyway.
Frieren (Beyond Journey’s End)

Elven adventurer Frieren from the anime of the same name looks absolutely stunning when recreated in Monster Hunter Wilds. Those familiar with the anime will know Frieren has plenty of experience with monster hunting, and this replication is as close to the anime version as you can find. Again, Gullible-Ad8788 on Reddit is to thank for this one.
Keanu Reeves (John Wick)

Long, tousled hair? A signature look of superiority? A rugged approach to hunting monsters? Well, two out of three isn’t bad. Keanu Reeves is instantly recognizable in this creation by Reddit user BlurpleCMYK. Why not try adding some blood effects for added authenticity? It’s what John Wick would want.
Lucy (Cyberpunk Edgerunners)

Right, so Lucy isn’t from a stereotypical monster-hunting environment, and she could stick out a little bit among our line-up of creation codes, but look how well Reddit user Ranniery-Jesuino has created the Cyberpunk Edgerunners character.
Billie Eilish

The global megastar has had her red and black hair era immortalized in Monster Hunter Wilds thanks to Reddit user ScalesOfFate. While we’re not sure Billie has time to slay monsters with her hectic schedule and ongoing world tour, we’re sure she would embrace the task given half a chance.
The Joker

Can you have Harley without The Joker? Well, if Harley had it her way, absolutely, but Redditor ohsoedwin thinks differently. This Heath Ledger-era Joker has been painstakingly created using the Monster Hunter Wilds character creator, and we’re oh so thankful.
Kratos (God of War)

The God of War himself, Kratos, can now easily be transported to Monster Hunter Wilds thanks to Only Guides on YouTube. If you’re even remotely familiar with the franchise, Kratos is a formidable opponent for any monster, and would slot into the game almost seamlessly, especially if your weapon of choice is the Dual Blades.
Jason Momoa
Creation Code: KN6NV4QK6B55
Let’s face is, Jason Momoa is a majestic man. Tall and imposing, he doesn’t look out of place in MHW by a long stretch. Redditor papubino clearly agrees, as they took the time to create the above interpretation. Now you can live out your Khal Drogo / Aquaman / Duncan Idaho dreams in-game.
How to use Monster Hunter Wilds character creation codes
Now that you’ve decided which of the wonderful creations above that you’d like to use in-game, you’ll need to know how to use the creation codes to import the slider settings. Perhaps you’ve made an amazing replica of someone and want to share it with the community?
Import design
To import a character creation code:
- Go to the final tab on the right in the character creation screen
- Click ‘Download Design’
- Enter the code into the box
- Save the design
Export design
To generate a code for your own character design:
- Go to the final tab on the right in the character creation screen
- Click ‘Save/Load’
- Choose the character to load
- Click ‘Upload Design’
- Click ‘Yes’ to confirm
