Hero of the match Harry Brook: “I felt like they were favourites at the end, but our bowling was unbelievable.

“It was a nice pitch, we didn’t have the powerplay we wanted but the boys stuck at it. The outfield here is so quick, I didn’t feel like I had to hit many in the air, just pierce the gaps and thankfully it worked.

“We always have that ‘take wickets’ mentality, I tossed the ball to Mitchell and Rash and they got a couple of wickets between them. I was really happy with the way the boys went about it.

“I had so much faith in Pottsy and Dwarsh at the end, and they nailed it. Pottsy has been so good with the yorkers and he has a high ceiling.”

On Superchargers coach Freddie Flintoff: “It’s awesome, he is such a legend. I have spent a lot of time with him, especially on the golf course although he can improve in that department! He is a legend and has so much respect.”
