There have been a number of adaptations of the Legend of Zelda series, including an upcoming live-action movie with Sony Pictures. For our money, one of the most compelling retellings is the long-running manga series by artists A. Honda and S. Nagano, who collectively go by the pen name Akira Himekawa. Right now, you can pick up their first 10 volumes in The Legend of Zelda Complete Box Set for more than half off — just $48.17 (was $104.99). A Legendary Edition Box Set is also on sale for $78.99 (was $125).
The best part? You get actual Link dialogue — and he’s pretty eloquent, too!
Both sets feature the same stories but in different packaging, with the Legendary Edition collecting the works across five books. I’m admittedly partial to the Legendary Box Set because it comes in a treasure chest and I can hum a little melody every time I open it, pulling the book high above my head in a triumphant pose while my dog looks at me sideways.

These aren’t the only Zelda books currently on sale, though. There’s a trio of hardcover compendiums for those that want to revisit the full lore of the series. The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia is $25.52 (was $39.99) and offers an exhaustive, illustrated look at the series from the original NES title through Twilight Princess and features an official Zelda timeline up until then, which is nothing if not intricate. Other hardcover Zelda reference books on sale include The Legend of Zelda: Art & Artifacts for $23.77 (was $49.99) and The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia for $23.60 (was $39.99), which also includes a Skyward Sword prequel manga from Akira Himekawa.
