This Amazon Tiny Home Looks Like It’s From ‘The Sims’

If there’s one thing we love about online shopping, it’s not actually adding necessary items to our carts, but simply browsing for inspiration like you would window shop at the mall. Lately, our favorite fixation has been tiny homes—and this one looks like it’s straight out of The Sims.

The Generic Two-Story Tiny Prefab Luxury Home looks almost futuristic with its floor-to-ceiling windows and jigsaw-like second floor and rooftop. Although Amazon is home to some other prefab homes, this one definitely stands out.

Despite its larger size, this small modern home arrives at your doorstep fully equipped with your basic amenities. It’s also foldable and requires minimal setup so you can start feeling at home—literally.

With two entry points, one on the first floor, and one on the second, this house is accessible as it doesn’t require any steps to enter (although there is a small platform). You can rest assured that you’ll receive stellar views from its rooftop area, which is arguably its most distinguished feature. Whether you like to spend your time reading, gardening, or people-watching, we do think you’ll enjoy its spacious second-story terrace large enough to house a patio umbrella, a couple of house plants, and a chair (in addition to any more items you may find yourself able to squeeze out there). 

However, if you prefer to spend your time inside and/or still want to enjoy views on a rainy day, you can do that too thanks to its floor-to-ceiling windows on the front sides of both floors. Its black window panes also help contribute to its chic aesthetic (in addition to just providing you with beautiful views).

That said, this prefab home has been made for long-term living featuring flame-retardant wall panels that are also waterproof, insulated to maintain heat, and designed to withstand earthquakes (up to level 8) and wind (level 10).

In addition to space for living and sleeping, this container house has a kitchen complete with cabinets and sinks and a bathroom with a toilet, shower, sink, plumbing, and power sockets. The rooms in the house are made with a combination of steel wood, logs, and sandwich panels whereas the floors are made with PVC board, fiber cement board, and MGO board.
