Tori Spelling & Ex Dean McDermott Ignored Their Debt For A Decade — And Owe An INSANE Amount Now!

According to a new report in Us Weekly on Monday, City National Bank is going after the couple over an unpaid debt that has been a decade in the making. And with never-ending interest on the original loan creeping up more and more, things are getting REALLY bad for the pair. Like, nearly $400,000 bad…

Last week, CNB filed new court documents claiming that Tori and Dean haven’t paid a single cent on a six-figure sum a judge originally ordered them to pay way back in May of 2017. Basically, the duo originally took out a $400,000 loan from the bank in 2012 (!), but by 2017 they had allegedly stopped paying it back altogether. So the financial institution went after them.

That move was initiated in December 2016 when the bank filed a lawsuit seeking the balance of the outstanding loan, which CNB said at the time was $190,000 plus interest. And then six months later in May 2017, as we noted, a judge told the estranged couple to pay up… with a default judgment landing at $220,088.37. Except they didn’t pay anything! Literally not a cent!

Last week’s filing from CNB contends that Tori and Dean never addressed the judge’s decree for a summary judgment AT ALL! So, the bank has now dropped this new filing on the 52-year-old television star and her 58-year-old estranged husband. And this time around, the bank wants eight more years of interest on the judgment, too — bringing the sum to $395,729.82!!!

Damn. That means the celeb ex-couple basically still owes nearly the exact amount of the loan which they originally took out 13 years ago… despite having already paid back half of it. Welp, guess that’s what happens when you don’t pay on time!

It’ll be interesting to see where this case goes from here with a nine-year legal battle dragging out over the problems linked to a 13-year-old loan. Oof.

FWIW, Us Weekly says the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum and her estranged hubby have yet to make an appearance in the case, so their personal takes on this sticky situation are not available in any court filings.

Of course, the couple infamously split in 2023 after spending 17 years together. They share five kids — Liam, 18, Stella, 17, Hattie, 13, Finn, 12, and Beau, 8. And throughout the early part of that breakup process, they fought over various financial matters. But this one is a BIGGIE that they will have to face together… we’d think.
