Update: Sigh…. Just discovered someone is squatting in the backyard of my rental property….

I’ve been getting a lot of messages asking for an update so here it is.

She’s been back multiple times since the original post, bringing items in and out of the shed. I’ve still been unable to make contact with her face to face but I did see her Friday night leaving the property.

My rentals management company put up a gate and padlock to secure the opened side of the backyard. I am the renter, not the landlord.

They thankfully obliged to my wishes and didn’t throw her belongings out. They’re in her cart by the back gate. I have also left her some food, water and toiletries. It’s not much, but it’s really all I can afford right now.
