Naughty Patty’s Pops Up in Las Vegas With Smash Burgers

Another new way to indulge has hit Sin City.

Naughty Patty’s, a gourmet smash burger spot, is slated to open this summer in Las Vegas. Like anything in Vegas, it comes with a lot of decadence and a side of kitsch. Patty, the pin-up mascot of Naughty Patty’s, has a naughty list and fans will want in.

Before the grand opening of the soon-to-be destination burger joint at Block 16 Urban Food Hall, Naughty Patty’s is hosting a pop-up at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, featuring free burgers and prizes. On Saturday, May 24 at 6 p.m., Naughty Patty’s will host a one-night-only event offering the first 25 fans in line a mention on Patty’s list and a “Naughty Pass” good for free Naughty Patty’s for one year.

Anyone who attends the pop-up, which will have a semi-secret location announced on @NaughtyPattys Instagram account on Saturday, will be treated to a burger, fries, and a creamy concrete – all on the house.

Naughty Patty’s isn’t your standard fast food — it’s a bit edgy, if the name didn’t give that away. But the brand takes its burgers seriously.

“We put a lot of R&D into this burger,” says Mark Crane, executive chef at The Cosmopolitan. “We ended up with something we’re super proud of and really delicious. It definitely stands out.” He worked with his culinary team to develop a proprietary beef blend, condiments, and bun that led to the ultimate bite of burger.

Served on a potato roll, the smash burger is made from a blend of seasoned ground chuck, brisket and short rib, topped with a secret sauce reminiscent of the classic ketchup, mayo, and pickle combo.

“We wanted to go for something bolder, with more flavor; we really turned up the volume on flavor profiles,” says Crane. “And the french fries are killer.” Coated in a secret spicy seasoning that Crane says is similar to furikake, the Naughty Patty’s fries are far from boring. On the sweet side, frozen concretes are loaded with playful toppings like strawberry shortcake and Oreo, then served with color-changing spoons that shift in hue between the frozen desserts and warm mouths. Naughty! 

Additional details on Naughty Patty’s official grand opening will be revealed this summer. Block 16 Urban Food Hall at The Cosmopolitan is home to Bāng Bar by Momofuku, District Doughnut, Hattie B’s Hot Chicken, a mezcal lounge called Ghost Donkey, Lardo sandwich shop, and Tekka Hand Roll and Sake. The food hall is open until 10 p.m. on weeknights and midnight on weekends.
