14 Early Prime Day Espresso Machine Deals to Shop Ahead of the Summer 2025 Sale

Breville consistently makes some of the best espresso machines, according to our rigorous testing, and are especially great for beginners. This particular semiautomatic espresso machine includes a built-in grinder and steam wand.

Historically, Breville’s built-in grinders have been fine, but not amazing. But higher-end machines like the Breville Barista Pro Espresso Machine have started using the same burrs used in Baratza grinders, which is undoubtedly a step up. It has 30 grind settings and an LCD display that indicates grind size and grind time and allows for some customization in the brewing process.

The Duo Temp is about as basic as Breville machines get (we’re pretty sure new ones have actually been discontinued in the United States) but it’s still as reliable as any Breville machine. It uses a simple dial instead of the buttons of the fancier machines, but if you’re willing—or prefer—to go analog you can get this one on sale right now.

The Breville Infuser is essentially the Barista Express without the built-in grinder, and with a smaller footprint. If you would rather put the extra $35 toward some quality beans and don’t mind grinding your own, it’s a solid option.

The De’Longhi La Specialista Arte machines have similar features and functionality to the Breville Barista Express machines, and they’re equally user-friendly. The built-in steam wands aren’t quite as powerful as Breville’s, but they’re powerful enough. Plus, these machines are a little less messy thanks a screw-on dosing funnel and an optional step you can put under the portafilter that stops any stray splash when pulling a shot.

The La Specialista Arte Evo is another great De’Longhi espresso machine that has what the machine above doesn’t: a preset for making cold brew. It’s a smart investment for first-time espresso machine investors who want to make a variety of cafe-quality espresso and coffee drinks at home—especially when it’s on sale.

De’Longhi Magnifica Evo is an affordable automatic machine with seven presets, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, macchiato, and iced coffee. If you’re short on space, this is one is a little more compact than the La Specialista Arte.

Right now, our favorite model—the Nespresso Vertuo Plus—is on sale. This sleek model makes great coffee and espresso shots and the water tank can be placed in the back or the side depending on your kitchen configuration. The Nespresso Vertuo Creatista by Breville is what I’ve been using using at home for about two years. It does everything the other Vertuoline machines do and then some, thanks to a built-in steam wand. Buttons on the top of the machine allow you choose the temperature and frothiness of your milk—and you don’t even have to hold the milk jug at a perfect angle like baristas do. Just set it on the machine and let the wand take it from there (“set it and forget it!”). Think of this like a two-touch cappuccino machine…or a latte machine or a flat-white machine, you get the idea. In addition to single-serve coffees and espresso-style shots, this machine can also brew 18 ounces of coffee (a carafe’s worth) from a single pod. Yes, it’s a splurge compared to other Nespresso machines, but with its stainless-steel body and milk wand, it could almost pass for one of Breville’s “real” espresso machines (if you don’t look too closely, of course, since there’s no portafilter or hot water spout), and it’s a steal compared to those.

The Nespresso Vertuo Next does everything the VertuoPlus does—and it can connect to Wi-Fi as well as brew an 18-ounce carafe of pour-over-style coffee from a single Nespresso Vertuo coffee capsule. If you want the ability to make espresso shots and brew what is basically a small pot of coffee from one pod, this is the Prime Day Nespresso deal for you.

Add a color to your kitchen with a two-toned Pop+ machine. These machines are a lot like the Vertuo Next machines, but more compact and affordable (they can’t brew 18 ounces of coffee from a single pod, though).
