Wednesday has been renewed for season 3, weeks ahead of its season two debut!
If you don’t know, the second season is being split up into two separate parts. Season 2, Part 1 debuts on August 6, 2025 with Season 2, Part 2 debuting on September 3, 2025 – but there’s 2 cast exits happening!
In a new interview, director Tim Burton and star Jenna Ortega confirmed there’s a third season on the way, and they also shared some other news!

THR revealed how long the Wednesday showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar want to keep the show running.
They said they “hope to keep Wednesday enrolled through the character’s Nevermore tenure, which lasts seven years (or seasons).”
They then confirmed they are talking about a spinoff, but did not reveal the character they would focus on.
“It’s something we’re definitely noodling; there are other characters we can look at,” Alfred said, “There’s a lot to explore in the Addams Family.”
