Post Malone might love his new Dr. Scholl’s kicks more than cracking open a cold one with the boys, stepping out in their Gaston Fisherman Sandals in this year’s Bud Light Super Bowl LIX commercial.

The “I Had Some Help” singer got some help from Dr. Scholl’s perfecting his dadcore looks for the “Big Men on Cul-de-Sac” Super Bowl spot, starring alongside other polo-wearing and fanny-pack-toting stars like comedian Shane Gillis and Peyton Manning. In the commercial, they’re seen saving a boring backyard party by launching beer cans with leaf blowers, driving a “smoker that can cut grass,” and grilling up some steaks — all in sandals with pulled-up white socks.

While shooting the commercial, Posty gave an IG shoutout showing his stamp of approval to the “swaggy and comfy” Gaston sandals, which retail for $60. “Essential to any backyard party is a pair of these bad boys,” he gestures to the shoes in the video. “[They’re] stylish, breezy.” Several of the comments were excited to see Malone his “dad era,” or ready to leave “Brat Summer” behind for “Dad Summer 2025”.

Whether you’re grilling, lounging, or of course, tailgating, you don’t have to sacrifice “swag” for comfort with these Fisherman-style sandals. They provide supportive cushioning and arch support thanks to Dr. Scholl’s Insole Technology so you can comfortably stand on your feet all day long. The leather upper make them classy enough to wear to a happy hour, but with a sporty enough design that you can feel good mowing the lawn in (with or without socks).

This is Malone’s second rodeo with comfort-minded brands, as he’s also a brand ambassador for Ugg and starred in a campaign last year titled “Lead a Horse“. While he was sporting all-weather boots then, these Fisherman-style sandals were a fitting pick for his Super Bowl commercial (“You want to go fishing tomorrow?” he asks Gillis in the spot, who responds with “I got a colonoscopy tomorrow.”)

From earning Grammy nods for his chart-topping country album, F-1 Trillion, to being bestowed the title of Record Store Day Ambassador for 2025, Malone is set to have a big year, so we’re sure he needs all the support he can get. The singer-songwriter also plans to add a cross-country trek to his schedule, with some help from Jelly Roll, Sierra Ferrell, and probably some pretty comfortable kicks. Post will kick off his Big Ass Stadium Tour in April 2025, with dates set for Detroit, Atlanta, and San Francisco.

You can get these Posty-approved Fisherman-inspired sandals on DrScholls.com and Amazon, available now.
