Yes, You Can Get Groceries at Costco Without a Membership—Here’s How

Costco has long been known to offer serious deals on everyday items, especially groceries in bulk. You can find just about anything there—some even kind of surprising—from signature wines and liquors to high-quality cheese, bacon, and yes, even caviar. And who can forget that rotisserie chicken everyone talks about?

However, if you don’t have a Costco membership, you’re pretty much out of luck. Plus, the warehouse has been cracking down on their membership policy lately which includes making shoppers scan their cards when entering the store and no longer allowing people without a membership to purchase anything at the food court.

But now, there seems to be a loophole thanks to a new deal with Uber Eats. Here’s everything you need to know about this latest collab.

Costco Delivery Is Now Available on Uber Eats

Costco and Uber Eats recently teamed up to offer the warehouse’s popular items by delivery in select locations nationwide, including Washington D.C., and Houston. The service is also available in Canada, Mexico, and Japan. More locations are said to come in the future.

The good news is you don’t even have to be a member to use this service. You can enjoy all the great finds this retailer has to offer and get your groceries delivered straight to your door.

However, if you are a Costco member, there are certain perks to be had, such as exclusive discounts. Members will get their items on Uber Eats around 15% to 20% less than non-members. Costco members can also receive a pretty solid discount on an Uber One membership at 20% off. An Uber One membership offers free delivery, savings on restaurants, and deals on rides with top-rated drivers.

While you don’t need a Costco membership to use the latest service with Uber Eats, there are other benefits to having one—some you may not even realize. For example, Costco Travel offers deals on booking anything from hotels to cruises and Costco Optical which gives discounts on eye exams, glasses, and contacts to help keep your eyes healthy without spending too much. You also get deals on gas, car insurance, and gift cards.
