Zach Gilford is ending his marriage.

The 43-year-old actor filed for divorce from wife and former Criminal Minds co-star Kiele Sanchez after 12 years of marriage on Friday (April 18).

In the court documents obtained by TMZ, Zach cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, but did not list the date of separation.

Keep reading to find out more…Zach and Kiele, 47, married in December 2012 and later welcomed two children, Zeppelin, 7, and Revel, 4. He is seeking joint physical and legal custody of their kids.

The former couple met while working on the pilot for the TV show Matadors, which did not get picked up. They later worked together again in the movie The Purge: Anarchy and the shows Kingdom and Criminal Minds: Evolution.
