My close friend sent me this pic from the hospital and gave me permission to post it. It made me smile because despite a life-long severe and painful disorder, a double amputation, and currently fighting a battle with cancer, she never drops her great sense of humor and positive attitude.

Shardai was born with epidermolysis bullosa, an excruciating condition where the skin is fragile and constantly tearing. People with this disorder are prone to skin cancer, which resulted in Shardai needing a double amputation below the knees. This lady is a massive source of inspiration for me. She's a badass who's aways moving forward, no matter what, and who's always there for me despite her own struggles. The ultimate Chad.
