Rice Krispies Treats Has a New ‘Re-Treat Suite’ for You to Stay In

Sure, the weather outside may still be hot and sunny, but kids across America are already heading back to school. If your kids are lucky enough to still have a few more weeks of freedom, Rice Krispies Treats is here to deliver a last taste of summertime fun.

On Monday, Rice Krispies Treats unveiled the Re-Treat Suite, an over-the-top getaway for families inside the newly renovated Red Jacket Beach Resort in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The Re-Treat Suite, the brand explained in a press release provided to Food & Wine, is an “immersive takeover of a charming suite inspired by our classic snack and the nostalgia of summertime sleepovers, bringing fans inside the delicious world of Rice Krispies Treats.”

Oh, and the best part of this news is it can be experienced by families completely free of charge.

“At a time when families are packing their bags for back-to-school and early bedtime, we’re packing our bags for the Re-Treat Suite and this family-loved beach destination,” Danielle Rappoport, the brand director for Rice Krispies Treats, shared in the statement. “We know that our iconic snack has the power to give our fans that wonderful sense of carefree fun. We hope the Re-Treat Suite gives guests an excuse to enjoy one more magical vacation with their loved ones before the sun sets on summer.”

And really, the suite is just as over-the-top as you’d expect. It’s decked out in the brand’s iconic blue color and includes adorable bunkbeds wrapped in Rice Krispies Treats packaging. There’s even a slide from the top bunk to the floor that lands in a soft pool filled with pillows. The room also includes a queen bed for adults to get comfortable too. As for snacks, there’s a fully-stocked in-room Treat Yourself bar for whenever you need to refuel, which includes Original, Chocolate, Strawberry, Chocolatey Chip Cookie Dough, Rainbow, and Chocolatey Peanut Butter flavors.

The only caveat here is that families need to be quick with their booking fingers. There are only five, two-night, three-day stays available in the suite now through the end of August. Those interested can get one by visiting RiceKrispiesTreatsReTreat.com. (The suite can fit up to six guests, so make your list of who else you’d like to invite along for the fun after you book.)

Bookings will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and open on a rolling basis starting August 12 at 12 p.m. Eastern for the stay on August 16-18. Then, bookings will be open on the following dates:

  • Monday, August 12 at 12 p.m. Eastern: August 16-18 open for booking
  • Wednesday, August 14 at 12 p.m. Eastern: August 20-22 open for booking
  • Friday, August 16 at 12 p.m. Eastern: August 23-25 open for booking
  • Monday, August 19 at 12 p.m. Eastern August 27-29 open for booking
  • Friday, August 23 at 12 p.m. Eastern: August 30-September 1 open for booking

The only thing guests are responsible for is their transportation to and from the hotel, but a nearly unlimited supply of Rice Krispies Treats makes that sound mighty worth it.
